  Quantum metrology is to improve the sensitivity of measurements by exploiting quantum resources. In this presentation, I will give a brief introduction to quantum metrology, and discuss increasing the precision of quantum metrology by Hamiltonian control. I will extend quantum metrology to the estimation of general Hamiltonian parameters, then show how to design proper Hamiltonian control to optimize the Fisher information of quantum metrology. In particular, it shows that for a single spin in a rotating magnetic field, the optimal Hamiltonian control can boost the time scaling of Fisher information for the rotation frequency to T^4, which breaks the classical limit T^2. Finally, the effect of cross-overs in the Hamiltonian derivatives will be discussed.
